Vehicle Crashed into Las Positas Liquor Store

A vehicle crashed through the front windows of the Las Positas Liquor Store on Thursday evening.

At 7:26 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to 2283 Las Positas and discovered a black Lexus SUV had fully entered the building into the liquor store.

There was a single occupant inside the vehicle who was uninjured and there were no injuries in the store.

Firefighters assisted in removing the vehicle from the business while the building department arrived on the scene to determine the date of reopening.

  1. EDHAT, older drivers have the lowest rate of accidents. They also know how to spell: it’s brake, not break – you know that funny thing on the floor of the car that when you step on it it stops the car.
    Funny how it works that way.
