To protect the safety of vulnerable seniors during the coronavirus pandemic, home care agency Senior Planning Services is now providing round-the-clock, live-in care to seniors in private homes throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
With the coronavirus sweeping through nursing homes across the state, now has never been a better time to keep elderly loved ones in their own homes and out of long-term care facilities. Senior Planning Services has made it easier for seniors and their families to achieve just that, by offering compassionate, professional care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Each senior receiving 24-hour home care is assigned two, highly experienced caregivers. Limiting the number of caregivers to two ensures seniors are not exposed to multiple home health workers coming and going from the home. For added safety, caregivers wear personal protective equipment when working with clients, including gloves, masks, and shoe covers. They also carry hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes to disinfect hands and high-touch surfaces.
Family members wishing to visit their loved one at home are also encouraged to take precautions, including wearing masks (provided by Senior Planning Services), practicing social distancing, and having their temperature taken before entering the house.
