Despicable. I hope they’re caught and charged!
That is not okay. That used to happen off the turn outs on Painted Cave Rd. toward the Pass. Picking up trash, we’d find a lot of golf tees. With this topography, I liken it to firing a gun in the air in a city – you have no idea where it’s going to come down…..
NOT SURE THEY WERE DID NOT HEAR ANYTHING ELSE THOUGHT IT SHOULD BE POSTED.
Roger, you should be the only one allowed to use the term idiot on Edhat.
Walking along Ellwood Beach one fine afternoon, out of the corner of my eye I glimpsed something whizzing top speed right past my head. My first thought was, “Who the HELL is throwing things at me?” Then I saw a white golf ball had landed on the sand, not far away. There are golf balls found on that beach below the Sandpiper golf course all the time. I keep an eye out now, when walking the beach below those cliffs. Can you imagine getting hit in the head with a hurtling golf ball? Might be your last moment on Earth.
That demographic isn’t known for forethought or concern for others.
I’ve seen these guys up on PCR, as well, along with the idiots skate-boarding. Call 911. Maybe a charge of attempted assault and battery will persuade them to use the driving range at Sandpiper instead.
If they hit someone in the temple they can kill them.
if a golfball fall in the woods and no one is around, does it hurt? I agree lobbing solid objects off the tops of mountains is a bad idea.
Here’s a hint. P ainted.
Painted Cave Road. In the age of computers, many things get anagrammed.
