June Hotel Tax Down by 56%

The City of Santa Barbara collected $849,715 in transient occupancy taxes (TOT) for June 2020.

The Covid-19 pandemic and related response have severely affected the local travel industry. TOT revenues in June 2020 were 56% below June last year. 

June is the final month of the fiscal year.  The City has collected approximately $15.1 million in TOT revenues.  The City’s adopted TOT budget was $19,989,179.
