The Santa Barbara Historical Museum has reopened as an outdoor museum with the installation of “Project Fiesta: The History of Old Spanish Days.”
The museum’s courtyard showcases the pageantry, fashion, and traditions of the Old Spanish Days festival.
Through art, film, vintage posters, costume, historical photographs, and memories visitors will discover the beginnings of this festival since its inception in 1924.
Entry to the outdoor exhibition is free and it will be set up through August 22nd. The Museum is currently open limited hours: Thursdays, noon-5pm, Fridays, noon-7pmand Saturdays, noon-5pm.
