Not sure what the current Santa Barbara stats are but the claim that DV has increased during the COVID crisis are all over the place. There appears to have been a jump around March and April but recent data shows a decline in recent months. This fact is explained away by some but the data is still there. No one wants violence I trust but let’s be accurate about stereotyping this sort of thing.
