I’ve been keeping our aluminum cans for a while to recycle them for a little pocket change. Do edhatters know where the best place to recycle them for the biggest cash return?

D8… You insist on pushing Ventura as a place to get best price but forget how many cans it’ll take in gas to get you there and back.
Marborg: Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 4 PM. For More Information: (805) 963-1852. —132 Nopalitos Way Santa Barbara, CA (Entrance is on Nopalitos) …
Located off Cacique St., near lower Milpas. Study that map, because it’s not the easiest place to find if you’re a first timer. Try to go during the week, in the morning. >>>>>Santa Barbara Iron & Metal has next to NO parking and is totally frustrating, even for those who know the place. And—- I have never thought they paid the best price for anything. Take your rusted out pipes, leftover construction metals to Iron & Metal, but don’t expect to make any money on that venture, even if you have copper.
Plus, the guys working at Marborg are a well-oiled machine: fast, efficient and ready to help if you need it. (Driving to Ventura to recycle your aluminum . . . hahahahahaha. Can’t wait to tell my housemates that one.)
