Pumpkin Enrichment! The mammals are having a blast with their pumpkins. We are now looking for donations of SNAILS for another enrichment activity!
We toss snails into their hay so they can forage for them. If you have any snails, please gather them in a container with air holes from which they cannot escape and bring them over to 1460 N. Fairview Ave between 8am – 5pm.
The raccoons and those who care for them will be so thankful!
If you or the neighbors near you use any sort of outdoor poisons, your snails are ineligible as food products. They could poison the wildlife. I hope the Network screens thoroughly and gives the snails digestion-cleaning procedures before using them for food.
