The Hallmark Channel’s “Adoption Ever After” segment highlighted an adoptable dog from the Santa Barbara County Humane Society this week.
The television channel that airs national feature movies, series, and lifestyle programs selected the local humane society for the second year in a row during their “Home & Family” program.
“We are so grateful to the Hallmark Channel for giving us this national platform to showcase our organization,” said Sofia Rodriguez, Vice President of Philanthropy & Outreach for the Santa Barbara Humane Society. “We can’t wait for everyone to meet one of our adoptable dogs who will be featured.”
The segment, hosted by Larissa Wohl, is dedicated to helping shelter animals find homes. The show focuses on experts from every field and they strive to have real people be part of the show.
The Santa Barbara Humane Society was represented by the Santa Maria Campus Shelter Manager Matt Chan who showcased Diggory, who is up for adoption.
Diggory is a three-year-old Terrier, Pit Bull / Retriever, Labrador mix who is super-outgoing and affable, enjoys playtime, long walks, meeting new people, and making new friends.
His ideal home would be one with older kids as he tends to play too rough with children younger than 10 years of age. This energetic pup loves exploring the great outdoors and wants someone to romp in the grass or at the beach with.
The show originally aired on Monday, November 23. To see all animals available for adoption visit www.sbhumane.org.
