The Sheriff’s Office is adding one additional staff member and two inmates to our total number of COVID-19, while reporting that our active cases for both inmates and staff have dropped to single digits. An additional member of our professional staff has been found to be COVID-19 positive, which brings the total number of Sheriff’s employees who have tested positive to 115, Only three employees remaining off duty for COVID-19.
Two additional inmates have been found to be COVID-19 positive upon intake and majority of the cases have recovered, leaving only four active cases at the Main Jail.
