Look what just flew over our house, a V-22 Osprey!

Agreed. My enthusiasm is waning, between these and the recent UCSB ROTC flyovers.
Why “uncomfortable”? Shouldn’t live anywhere near the airport then…
Yes amazing aircraft and beautiful to see in the air and nice to know they’re on our side but it didn’t rattle windows it shook the house like an earthquake. What are these guys thinking? They are knuckleheads for flying over residential areas and there were two of them. They really should have flown over Goleta Beach South and out. If conditions didn’t warrant then they could have walked over to Old Town Coffee and taken a break and had some damn good locally roasted beans or better yet had lunch at Pepe’s and waited until wind permitted. What hurry are those guys in? Was inconsiderate flying that low over Goleta we live here to be away from that kind of L.A. type nuisance.
Our military has been frequenting Santa Barbara Airport forever. As a matter of fact, the airport was built for the military. Without practice, the military is not effective. Seems a small price to pay for a strong military.
