Where was the Painted Cave Fire Dept? Isn’t that their jurisdiction?
Uh….no their limits are about a mile away…so after first in Co. Fire would be Los Padres, Calfire and Trout Club Fire which is only about 1,000′ away.
Vehicle pulled over not hearing any more.
According to the CHP website looks like engine trouble no fire will thats good no fire anyway. Roger over and out.
Oof. Thoughts of June 1990 Painted Cave Fire. So happy this incident didn’t trigger a conflagration.
