Yep the suspect was known to the victim sounds like the suspect wanted to waste the victim stabbing that many times.
I do hope this isn’t treated as ‘catch and release’ when they catch the offender. Stranger things have happened in CA.
I imagine both would be helpful for the victim and the perpetrator. But you knew that. You just wanted to inject some racism.
Broken record of bad strawman arguments from the peanut gallery.
Where does this “houseless neighbor” intend to plug in his newly acquired stereo? Or is this just one extra way station between stolen property and its next unsavory transfer of ownership?
Not helpful questions.
Unhelpful speculation.
Sounds like a debt collector or someone doing a repo on property that was stolen from them
YEPSB, again, maybe not useful to you or possibly your cause or narrative, but a very realistic scenario, given location, actions, effects and the “houseless neighbor” population that congregates in that park.
BYZANTIUM, I think the way station scenario is the most likely scenario.
LOVEMYSB – “remember freedom of speech?” Indeed….. Why is YEPSB not allowed to voice his/her opinion about the uselessness of some of these comments? Freedom of speech goes both ways. “Remember?”
YEPSB, it might be unhelpful to you and your agenda, narrative or cause, but it is highly relevant to the situation, and most likely NOT speculation, given the area, the actions, and the effects as well as full knowledge by the community as to who frequents that location. Same goes for the questions asked, highly relevant, given the consistent ill-behavior of the “houseless neighbors” that frequent that park. But many thanks for offering unhelpful input, we all appreciate it and welcome it!
SACJON, you are absolutely correct on the first amendment rights and I stand in full support of that. The helpfulness of YEPSB’s comments, well, they are more like an admission of denial to facts and reality of the “houseless neighbor” antics, thus unhelpful at best, useless at worst. I hate to break the news to you and YEPSB, but the individual involved was a… well, you know as well as we all do what the suspect is, just testing your cognizance on the long standing local problem.
SACJON, thank you for generously accepting the fact as to who was involved & I personally thank you for the “A for the Day” which you’ve given me.
As for a “victory” or anything like that, it’s not a “victory” until the problem of problem causing vagrants is done and over with.
Need I remind you, neither of us, you or me, have an issue with legitimately homeless individuals and when I use the term “houseless neighbors” in my comments, that is directed to the very individuals you even claim to not like too much, the gutter punk traveler ilk (I had to throw that word in there just for you!).
Here in Isla Vista, ever since the removal of the “houseless neighbors” from the People’s Park encampment, things have gotten a hell of a lot better for the local homeless people who have always been a part of the community.
They’re not only able to get the services and help they need, but they’re also not being harassed, assaulted or threatened by the ilk that occupied that encampment.
The organizations that backed the “houseless neighbors” and all not residents of Isla Vista have all backed down knowing they failed miserably in pushing their agenda on the community.
So again, I thank you for the letter grade and for defending the first amendment right for all to speak their minds, it is highly appreciated.
But again, I won’t claim any victory until homelessness is somehow fixed and the beginning of that repair starts with identifying homeless people from “houseless neighbors” that cause problems.
