Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to a vehicle collision on the Fairview Road overpass early Saturday morning.
At 12:23 a.m., fire crews arrived on the overpass to Highway 101 in Goleta. They discovered a sedan had crashed into the wall with a single occupant.
The driver, a male in his 20s, suffered major injuries and was treated by paramedics before being transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
