A minor on a bicycle was struck by a Tesla at approx 4:45PM on Thursday 8/19. Bicyclist was traveling South on Alisos, Tesla was traveling east on Gutierrez. The ambulance response was very quick, arrived within minutes.

Funny how the car make gets mentioned in the headline ONLY when it’s a Tesla!

You’ll NEVER see a title like “GM car strikes … Ford crashes into ” or anything like that.
“Traditional” car makers finance the press with their ads , so said press “covers up” for them and tries to bash Tesla whenever they can
There have been some incidents (nation wide) with Teslas hitting various things due to mis-use or limitations of the autopilot feature. Now when a Tesla is involved in a crash, it raises a different kind of concern than your run-of-the-mill incident. Not that this incident involved autopilot—I have no idea about that.
Let me guess, a wheelie kid not obeying the standard traffic laws and probably went into that intersection that has a stop sign that he more than likely blew…..
