Doorways, sidewalks and alleys looking very unsavory on Upper State Street these days.
Upper State Street has gotten really bad…
District 5 and District 6 need to get their acts together and prevent another part of our town from getting taken over by vagrants. They share the 101 offramp and Mission Creek corridor vagrant camps, with no small help of the RR track crime corridor also close by, so add the Westside district too – three city districts materially impacted by vagrancy criminal activity – collectively, what are these three district representatives doing about this, and is the critical fourth vote from the mayor joining in their efforts? if not, then time past to replace all of them. In November, we still have the chance to get at least two of the do-nothings replaced – Harmon and Murillo. The third, Eric Friedman better get on board after getting an election free pass this year, because his Upper State district is going down hill fast. Westside rep Oscar Gonzales is termed out – time for a strong candidate to step up and protect this area since it shares much of the same vagrancy crime corridor vulnerabilities – RR track, Mission Creek and Highway 101.
