In the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 5, 2021, four businesses in Acorn Plaza were burglarized. Deputies conducting follow-up to these cases collected surveillance footage that appears to show two suspect loading stolen items into a grey Porsche Cayenne.
One of the suspects can be seen wearing a greenish colored hoodie with light colored pants. The second suspect is wearing a beanie, a dark colored hoodie, and dark baggy pants. There appears to be a third suspect in the front passenger seat of the vehicle.

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating several burglaries that occurred early this morning in the Acorn Shopping Center in Orcutt. At approximately 2:09 a.m., deputies responded to a burglar alarm at Ricky’s Pizza in the 4800-block of S. Bradley Road. When they arrived, deputies noted forced entry to the business, as well the neighboring businesses. Additional units including a K9 from Santa Maria Police responded to assist with searching the interiors of the business, however no suspects were located.
A total of four businesses were burglarized, all with forced entry made. The businesses include Ricky’s Pizza, Orcutt Bakery, Cold Stone Creamery, and Cubanissimo. Forensics technicians responded to the scene to collect evidence and deputies will be conducting follow-up. At this stage of the investigation, we will not be releasing details about the items taken, how entry was made, or the evidence that has been collected.
