At 11:16 County Sheriffs received a report of an accident at Main/166 and Bonita School Road, with a possible fatality. CHP reported a Black Nissan into a ditch at the same location, at 11:24. Subsequent witness report indicated the driver of the crashed Nissan exited the vehicle and was struck by a black Honda, which fled the scene. Sheriff’s deputies confirmed the fatality upon their arrival at about 11:27.
