bug ID?

Sitting on my couch this afternoon, I felt something tickle my leg and I immediately swiped at it. This is the tiny 2-3mm creature that I reflexively squished. Can anyone help identify it? I’m a bit terrified, as last month I am sure I got bedbugs from a hotel, but that was 4 weeks ago.
