The Central Coast is full of exceptional women who lead, make change, and work tirelessly to improve our community every day. As we approach Women’s History Month, I’m inviting you to nominate a woman who inspires you for my Congressional Women of the Year Award.
Previous awardees have educated students on structural racism, advocated for the LGBTQ community, championed our local health centers, stood up for immigrants, fought for our environment, helped animals find homes and much more. There are unlimited ways to lead and I want to hear from you! Tell us whose service to the Central Coast you think should be recognized with a Woman of the Year Award using this form.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Sunday, March 20th. The winners of the awards will have their stories submitted into the official Congressional Record, recognizing and preserving the impact of their dedicated work for generations to come.
Please consider forwarding this email to your networks for their consideration as well. If you have any questions regarding the nomination process, please do not hesitate to reach out to Caitlin.Cox@mail.house.gov directly.
