Dedicated readers of edhat will know this location has been written about many times, namely by resident Goleta Historian Tom Modugno. The answer is the Barnsdall Rio Grande Service Station at 7825 Hollister Ave in Goleta, near the Sandpiper golf course and Bacara Resort.
