Heard the crash. Was anyone injured? This part of DLV is so fast. I wish there were some speed humps to encourage folks to slow down.
Speed bumps all over town 5mph speed limit that would be cool…
That’s a great idea someone ought to tell the mayor speed bumps.
Speed bumps/humps only exacerbate the problem. The ones on W. Valerio, for instance, are designed to be driven comfortably at 25 MPH; however, many, many drivers slow to 5-10 MPH, negotiate the bump, accelerate to 20-25, and then slow way down again for the next one, forcing everyone behind them to jam on their brakes. Speed bumps are not only useless, they make the situation worse than it is.
Don’t even THINK about speed bumps ! All they do is make nervous belles slow WAY down to a crawl, forcing people behind them to jam on the brakes.
Thats the idea – to get people to slow down. They work nicely on Valerio. And not speed bumps, but speed humps, the are smaller.
