Opera SB Hosts Free Sunken Garden Performance of “La Traviata”

Santa Barbarans and curious out-of-towners came out to enjoy the sun, sounds, and spectacle of a live opera rehearsal in the iconic Sunken Gardens. The Opera SB Orchestra conducted by Kostis Protopapas,  along with soprano Anya Matanovich, tenor Nathan Granner, and baritone Joel Balzun gave the audience a sneak peek of Verdi’s beloved La Traviata. 

The open rehearsal was a chance to preview the opera before this Sunday’s only performance of the season closer. Come see the opera in its full glory on the Granada stage this Sunday, June 12 at 2:30PM.  GET TICKETS TO LA TRAVIATA
