Santa Barbara County Firefighters are aiding CalFire in battling a 200-acre brush fire near Arroyo Grande.
The Camino Fire sparked around noon on Friday near Husana and Mary Hall Roads, north of Nipomo. As of Tuesday afternoon, the fire is 0% contained and has the potential to burn 1,500 acres, according to fire officials.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office issued evacuation orders for the area between Huasna Road, Mary Hall Road, and Huasna Townsite, and evacuation warnings for the Huasna Townsite area.
Four structures were saved by firefighters and there are currently no reports of damaged structures.
Smoke is visible in northern Santa Barbara County.
