The Santa Barbara Police Department reports there were no serious criminal matters that occurred directly related to the Fiesta celebration within city limits.
From August 3-7, 2022, there were 119 citations issued, which includes traffic infractions and municipal code violations.
There were 181 calls for service, and 58 arrests including misdeameanor and felonies.
The police departement does state these numbers are specific to Fiesta related matters and do not include statistics from non-related Fiesta enforcement.
“58 arrests including misdeameanor and felonies.”.
Felonies are no longer “serious crimes !!!
Mind blowing !
Don’t be annoying. They clearly mean there were no violent felonies. No shootings, stabbings, armed robberies, attempted murders, large brawls, etc. related to Fiesta. Which is a minor miracle given the increased number of people, an observable decline in the mental health of many people, and the recent trend of well-regulated militia members turning large groups of people into shooting galleries.
Chillin :
Felonies are no longer a serious crime !!!
If you’re happy with that, I wish you the best !
Rodger Dodger did report on his private alert system that there were several times when large groups of gang members were fighting. We are just fortunate that none of those scuffles turned deadly. The frustration and violence are here, as the nation and world get more tense and people act out.
Felonies are no longer considered crimes here in SB? If that’s the case, SB has sure gone radical left wing liberal. Will there be layoffs at the SBPD? That would not surprise me.
Fond: *clutches pearls furiously* What is to become of our society!??
Gimli: Yeah the radical leftwing city with the conservative businessman mayor in a county that just built a new jail. Basically Antifa run amok lol
Gimli :
You’re right.
And Chilling is applauding the fact that FELONIES are no longer serious !
Sad society that we’re preparing for !
An unregulated militia consisting of one disaffected youth or an unregulated militia otherwise known as a gang do most of the shootings, but OK.
I’m glad the unregulated left their firearms at their girlfriends house.
The well regulated militia would never discharge a firearm with a crowd in the background. Even if there was an active shooter or an active deadly stabbing underway. Then the well regulated militia (see definition of regulated back in 1783) would have a duty to respond to save life and not endanger other lives. Which means getting close enough to the dangerous person to only hit the person attempting or accomplishing murder.
Your comedy schtick is somewhat lacking.
