Mesa Creek Restoration Begins Wednesday

By the City of Santa Barbara

As part of the Las Positas and Modoc Roads Multiuse Path Project’s habitat restoration mitigation plan, the City will be restoring riparian habitat at the Mesa Creek restoration site, which is located south of Cliff Drive and east of the roundabout.

Preparations for the restoration efforts will begin on October 26th with the removal of three invasive, non-native Ash trees. New, native cuttings will be added to the site and will improve the habitat’s functionality.

To find out more information, please contact Beth Anna Cornett, Senior Planner at bcornett@SantaBarbaraCA.gov
