World Dance for Humanity Thriller and More

By Robert Bernstein

World Dance for Humanity raises money for direct aid in Rwanda, Ukraine and other places in need. They do it in a way that is fun and that engages our community through joyful dance. Everyone is welcome to participate!

Their premiere event each year is a huge performance of “Thriller” in the Courthouse Sunken Gardens in the lead up to Halloween. Here is my video of their performance last weekend.

But they are out and about all year long. Here are a few of their other performances just in the past few weeks. Starting with this pop-up of “Thriller” at a Solstice party on October 15.

Here was their pop-up of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition” at the Farmer’s Market at Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta on October 23.

And here they performed to “Lime in the Coconut” at the Isla Vista Haunted Pumpkin Patch at the start of Halloween weekend.
