whats more interesting is the massive amount of flooding, destruction, mud flows to downtown, the water front, Goleta, SB Airport, SB Harbor/Marina, SB Yacht Club….but hey lets all focus on Cito.
Zero – thanks lol. I totally get what you’re saying though. Goleta beach is being dumped on again with dirt from, guess where? Yeah yeah, it’s the only “feasible” place, but no one here in Goleta (at least according to nextdoor) is very stoked about it. Quite the opposite. It’s our beach, once again, being dumped on. I mention that and am immediately shot down. It’s the “shut up and take it” after these storms that a lot of us don’t like. It’s like *I* am the selfish one for even questioning why SB’s dirt is being dragged out onto our beach again.
@Zero and 915. These are drone footages of an entire community that was evacuated. Those who couldn’t leave before the roads flooded were asked to shelter in place. Why critical of the photog and the person explaining. You’re fools.
Great photos – thanks for sharing! Too bad some people have to comment with negativity.
um….so were many neighborhoods in SB….
my god you people are so narrow minded and wear horse blinders.
Nice documentation. It’s easier to understand with aerial views. (Like many of you, I am exhausted with political/religious/social commentary contaminating blesséd conversation. They’re jonny-one-note little kid interrupting with “Are we there yet.”
