The Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara is pleased to announce a grant award of $12,000 to Santa Ynez Valley (SYV) Senior Citizens Foundation, DBA SYV Community Outreach. Funds will help support the Meals on Wheels program for cancer patients who reside in the Santa Ynez Valley. Their efforts ensure access to meals prepared to meet the unique nutritional needs of oncology patients. With a focus primarily on soups, heartier fare is also offered as well as meals of soup, salad and bread for caregivers. SYV Community Outreach believes that nutrition is the key to health and they focus on developing easy and delicious options.
