This is from Saturday, a semi-truck crashed between Gaviota and Refugio.
It landed on the railroad tracks, southbound side of Highway 101.

LUCKY – good point. I’ve always that that area before and after the tunnel seemed to have a lot more accidents than other areas of the 101, but was repeatedly admonished for even suggesting it.
Notice how many CARS AND TRUCKS roll off the southbound 101 in that stretch after the tunnel? The road is banked wrong. Next time you drive it see if you feel the pull. Subtle, but if you were texting or otherwise distracted it might be enough to cause these wrecks we see so frequently.
