It’s hard to believe that Fabiola Gonzalez has already been with us for nine months. Initially, Fabiola joined the Fund as a teen in the Youth Making Change program in 2008 – 2009. In September of 2017 she returned to the Fund as the part-time Youth Making Change program coordinator in South County. Fabiola supported Youth Making Change and our grant making program through a significant transition last year.
Beginning July, Fabiola will be transitioning from her position as the South County Youth Making Change program coordinator to work on completing her graduate program at California State University, Northridge. Fabiola has been clear about her passion for higher education and, while we are sad to see Fabiola leave, we strongly support her educational aspirations and goal of completing her graduate program.
Fabiola has committed to supporting the Youth Making Change program for the remainder of her time to ensure that the 2017 – 2018 YMC year is off to a great start.
