The Santa Barbara Adventure Company is excited to announce new tours being offered at Prisoner’s Harbor on Santa Cruz Island! Kayaking the waters off Prisoners Harbor on Santa Cruz Island is an exceptional way to experience Channel Islands National Park. This location has stunning views of both the island and marine environment. Learn about the local history of the island while kayaking with a friendly guide and have a wonderful opportunity to see wildlife such as Garibaldi fish, brown pelicans, seals, sea lions, and even a bald eagle! After kayaking, enjoy hiking around Prisoners Harbor and getting a chance to see the endemic Channel Islands Fox and Santa Cruz Island Scrub-jay. Beginning November 1st the Scorpion Anchorage Pier will be closed for repair prohibiting guests to visit the Scorpion Anchorage area except for from December 21st to January 5th guests will be able to visit Scorpion Anchorage for holiday travels. The Santa Barbara Adventure Company will be operating at Prisoner’s Harbor until the pier re-opens and public access is granted to Scorpion Anchorage. Don’t delay in booking a trip to kayak at Prisoner’s Harbor from November to June or at Scorpion Anchorage from 12/21 – 1/5.
