To celebrate five years in business, Quinn Fiduciary Services donates $5,000 to local charities

Since holding a party isn’t a practical option in the age of social distancing, local estate management firm Quinn Fiduciary Services has decided to celebrate five years in business this month by donating $5,000 to Santa Barbara-based charities.

The Central Coast Alzheimer’s Association, Hospice of Santa Barbara, Friendship Center, Food Bank of Santa Barbara County, and Direct Relief International will each receive $1,000 on behalf of Quinn Fiduciary Services. The firm is also inviting other businesses and community members to join the celebration by donating to these worthy organizations.

“Given the challenging times we are living in, we felt it was more important than ever to give back to our community,” said Jackie Quinn, the company’s founder and owner. “What better way to celebrate our businesses’ success than by helping others in need?”

Quinn Fiduciary Services specializes in trust management and safeguarding the financial and general well-being of seniors and vulnerable adults. The firm’s licensed, professional fiduciaries help these challenged adults manage daily care, housing and medical needs, and also assist them with paying bills, managing investments, and other financial matters.

Jackie Quinn is a passionate advocate for the elderly and an experienced geriatric care manager. In addition to supporting seniors as part of her business, she speaks regularly on topics related to the care and safety of elders, including elder abuse, legal capacity and end-of-life decisions. She has volunteered with the Cancer Center, Arthritis Foundation and Alzheimer’s Association, and is a member of the Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Prevention Council of Santa Barbara County, as well as the Central Coast Scams Against Older and Vulnerable Adults Working Group.

This dedication to the elderly and vulnerable helped guide Quinn and her team’s selection of charities to donate to. People who were struggling even before the pandemic are now facing even greater challenges and need the support these organizations provide, Quinn explained.
