West of Wild, a digital media brand focused on providing wellness insights for millennial women, announced the launch of their podcast-focused newsletter: “What’s on Wellness”. After witnessing the astronomical rise in the production of wellness podcasts, the simultaneous decline in commuting times as a result of the global pandemic, and the resulting increase in desktop streaming, West of Wild founder, Keri Haugse, realized there was a gap in the marketplace for daily podcast curation, delivered to straight to subscriber’s inboxes, that’s both informative and easy to read.
Of the idea to launch a daily newsletter that summarizes hours of wellness podcasts into a five minute read, Haugse, said: “I’m a huge fan of podcasts and the wealth of information podcasters are putting out into the world. Yet, there are so many podcasts to choose from on a daily basis, it can be overwhelming. Our goal is to broaden the reach of this useful information while also highlighting episodes that might peak our reader’s interest.”
