Rick Keith has retired from his position as VNA Health Foundation Executive Director after nine years of dedicated service. His contributions have strengthened the organization and we wish him all the very best in his retirement.
President & CEO Lynda Tanner has announced that Rebecca Benard will serve as the new Foundation Executive Director. Ms. Benard has worked at VNA Health for nine years, holding leadership roles in both the Foundation and Operations that have elevated the agency’s ability to deliver trusted and compassionate care to Santa Barbara families. The agency’s mission will be further advanced through her fundraising expertise, community relations, and extensive operational experience.
For over 15 years, Ms. Benard has developed and implemented fundraising strategies that have significantly increased support for nonprofit organizations, specifically those focused on healthcare, social services, and the environment. Furthermore, she has over a decade of experience in both the aerospace industry as a financial analyst and strategic planner as well as owning an association management business.
“It is an honor to lead the VNA Health Foundation, which is poised to gain momentum from its tremendous legacy. I am enthusiastic to be a part of the efforts to grow the foundation to the next level, which will directly benefit families in Santa Barbara,” said Ms. Benard.
