Does anyone know what wineries have tasting rooms both in Santa Barbara and in Santa Ynez Valley? Looking to join a wine club where I can visit both locations.

Lafond (Sta Rita Hills) / Santa Barbara Winery (Funk Zone) are essentially the same – each Pierre Lafond’s.
Is that you Allen Funt?
Ritz Carlton -Barcara has all the Foley Wineries that are in the Foley Family (Foley, Lincourt, Firestone)
…Meant to say that the Ritz-Carlton-Bacarra has a really nice Foley tasting room- It’s located right in the front entry and is a separate entity from the Hotel… If you’re a Foley Wine Club member, tastings for up to 4 people are free… (tip not included for pourer)
This is news? Hogwash! It’s a well-placed ad for wine tasting rooms – period! Come on ED! You’ve been had. Sniff
Sanford has an absolutely saucy little bitch of a Riesling you might want to try. It embodies the essence of coriander, mango nectar, and the old favorite, pumpkin spice. Lafond is not to be outdone with a throaty but turgid Zinfandel, combining a meaty oaken taste with just a hint of Diet Dr Pepper and marzipan. It pairs nicely with creamed chipped beef or Velveeta® Casserole. As far as tasting rooms go, why not save a few bucks on gasoline and go to Ralphs or Vons and buy a few bottles of whatever looks interesting? That way, you’ll have lots on hand and you don’t have to content yourself with the meager half glass or so that you’ll be served if you go to the tasting rooms. Plus, at home you can drink all you want and not have to worry about a pesky DUI ticket. Glad I could help.
