Step into the fusion of media, arts and tech at UCSB’s Media Arts and Technology Program’s 25th Anniversary Show, “Soft AIM.”
Guests will have the opportunity to experience innovative work and performances produced by the program’s Master’s and PhD students and faculty, including projects in new media, electronic music, robotics, computational crafts and tools, and artificial intelligence.
Community members are invited to attend the show at one of two locations: Elings Hall at UCSB on Wednesday, June 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. and the Santa Barbara Center for Art, Science and Technology at 531 Garden Street downtown on Thursday, June 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. No cost is required for admission.
This year’s show theme, Soft AI+M (Artificial Intelligence + Media), engages the current developments in media related computation, software, robotics, electronic music as well as their intersection with artificial intelligence processes.
