On Sunday, April 7th, 5-8 PM, the Central Coast Antiwar Coalition and CODEPINK-Santa Barbara invite you to join them at the First Congregational Church, 8 West Padre Street, Santa Barbara for potluck, fundraising for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and screening of Miral. The biographical film chronicles the story of a Palestinian girl named Miral who becomes a teacher in a refugee camp. When she falls in love with a political activist, Miral must choose between violence and the peaceful path that her mentor, Mama Hind, taught her.
