A vehicle crashed off Highway 154 into a creek bed on Sunday morning.
At 9:25 a.m., authorities responded to the highway, just west of Armour Ranch Road in Santa Ynez, near the SR-246 roundabout.
Crews discovered a dark-colored sedan crashed into the guardrail, overturned, and landed approximately 200 feet down into the Santa Agueda Creek bed, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The adult male driver is suspected of driving under the influence, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. There were no other occupants or injuries reported.
A “heavy wreck tow” is required to remove the vehicle causing an impact to westbound traffic on SR-154.
Correction? Not “Near the SR-246 roundabout”… it’s near the East Intersection of the 154 & Amour Ranch Road. Seen here from above you can click on the Street View (button lower right corner):

as Amour Ranch Road intersects the 154 in two spots…
Love that slip post breakaway guardrail, looks like it saved another one. Kudos to Caltrans engineering design, construction and inspection.
Yeah, that and the Tesla’s side air bags…
Yes, but it’s Armour Ranch Road.
Now that’s funny, as I was only doing the copy/paste thing from the article and never noticed that google corrected it for me while taking me to the semicircular road (on maps). Thanks for pointing out my blunder…
But not near SR 246, which is what the discussion is about.
‘Discover freedom’ from sobriety then travel on our roads endangering everyone . ..
Probably asleep with the auto crash on.
