How to Effectively Treat Trauma, Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder and Eating Disorder in One Episode of Care
This course is designed to teach clinicians how to integrate care for co-occurring clients who struggle with Trauma, Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder and Eating Disorders in one episode of care. Evidence based interventions and program descriptions will be provided along with techniques to deliver holistic preventions and treatment for this population.
Participants will learn how to utilize a multidisciplinary approach to treat all of a client’s presenting disorders concurrently. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to create a comprehensive treatment plan to confidently address clients’ bio, psycho, social, and spiritual needs collaboratively.

Sandra Mistretta, LMFT, CATC IV has been working in the field of substance use disorders with an emphasis on trauma and addiction for over a decade. In addition to serving as the Clinical Director for Casa Serena Treatment Programs for Women, Ms. Mistretta is certified in DBT and Addiction Counseling. She is formally trained in EMDR and Eating Disorder Treatment and is an adjunct professor at Antioch University in Santa Barbara when time permits.
