Around 11:00am Saturday we saw a formation of 4 aircraft go over the Santa Barbara cemetery by the bird refuge.
In fact, they went overhead about 4 times. On the last overhead, one peeled off with his streamer going.
Who was this honoring?

That fly-over would have been for Art Petersen whose 100th Birthday was being celebrated at the Veterans Memorial Building. Pierre Claeyssens Veterans Museum covers the bill for these terrific flyovers to honor our veterans.
Art’s not a flyer, he was in the 101st Airborne but as a paratrooper who was on Normandy Beach for D-Day. https://www.independent.com/2024/03/13/d-day-paratrooper-from-101st-airborne-celebrates-100th-birthday-in-santa-barbara/
He was a retired “Blue Angel” fighter pilot.
Do you know his name?
What about the four planes that flew over Montecito on Friday about 11:30, maybe 11:45 AM?
