Traffic was backed up at the intersection of Modoc and Las Positas around 12:45 p.m. Monday.
I don’t know if there was a collision or a second vehicle involved but I could definitely see a convertible mini cooper had been on fire.
Firefighters had just finished hosing the car down and it was being loaded onto a flatbed tow truck. The entire convertible top was charred and the front looked like it might have collided with something.
