A white Toyota Sedan traveling down the pass and an older red truck headed up the pass came in contact sending the sedan spinning. The airbags deployed in the white Toyota Sedan with no injuries. There are no details on the truck’s passengers.

Glad no one was hurt (apparently)! Say what you want, it’s a dangerous road and my kids are banned from driving it for reasons like this. Curvy, unpatrolled, narrow shoulders with steep and deadly drops, no center divider, and to make all that even more dangerous – there’s far too many large trucks on it. Save time and lives, use the 101.
Odd angle?
Or it not look like a head on hit?
Or the Toyota hit the side of the PU turck?
Hope nobody hurt seriously.
Look at the skid marks. The White Toyota was in their lane. The red truck struck the sedan and threw the white car off the W. B. Lane.
The truck was trying to pass according to a witness who was shooting a live Tiktok vid. right after the crash.
Impatient drives like that make this road even more deadly. Should be no passing allowed anywhere on the SB side of the 154.
Lucky it was not a full on head-on. Look at that damage. Oooff!
On a solid double You can make a U-Turn but not to pass. Google Maps should rate a roads danger and offer safer routes.
The driver of the white Toyota is looking for witnesses to the collision. Especially any one in the same lane behind her in the East-Bound lane coming down Hwy. 154 toward S.B. HMU, IG: @Xtek_Overload .
Scanner reports and 911 calls or living in-person reports never have all or if any of all of viable information. These, are just informative local cautionary stories and events. Please, stay aware on the roads in S.B. and drive safely, and be aware of those known troubled spots.
Update: No initial life threating injuries were initially reported. In the aftermath, there is no definitive medical info available to the public. One party may be reporting serious bruising and ongoing pain. No details are available.
They were hurt it just took a day or more to feel the serious brusing.
