SpaceX launched its 10th dedicated smallsat rideshare mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Monday afternoon.
Falcon 9’s launch of the Transporter-10 mission to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg was completed at 2:05 p.m.
This was the fifth flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission which previously launched Crew-7, CRS-29, PACE, and one Starlink mission. Following stage separation, Falcon 9 landed on Landing Zone 4 (LZ-4) at Vandenberg.
Transporter-10 is SpaceX’s 10th dedicated smallsat rideshare mission. There will be 53 payloads on this flight, including CubeSats, MicroSats, and a hosted payload. To date, SpaceX has launched nearly 1,000 smallsats for more than 130 customers across our entire Rideshare program.
The launch can be seen on X @SpaceX and below:
Congratulations to #TeamV and SpaceX on this afternoon’s launch!

Honestly, no one cares about these weekly launches anymore. It’s commonplace now.
I also care.
Wrong, as you can see for yourself now.
Hugest racket I’ve ever heard from a VAFB launch
KIRK – definitely! It was not only a long rumble, but then a sudden very loud boom. Sonic boom on reentry? Was not the usual sounds we hear with these launches.
I care and I’m annoyed. They want to do 100 launches this year. I don’t see that I am getting any benefit from it. I’m tired of it freaking out all the animals. I’m tired of having to keep up with the launches. It is no longer a novelty. I am not going to get in a flame war but I really wish that Elon was spending some money on the overwhelming issues we are having in California then sending a rocket up every week. I’m sure in Lompoc they get an economic benefit but we don’t get one in the valley. I used to live in SF and people would get huffy about the Blue Angels being their once a year for a few days. This is like almost every week or other week and not enjoyable if you live close enough to have your house shake and your windows feel like they are going to break.
Check out the reports from the “REACH” group. Vandenberg and/or SpaceX want to open more platforms to basically have multiple launches per week. This will be a common occurrence on the Central Coast in the next 2-10 years.
Get ready for Lompoc to be the jewel of the south coast with the influx of money and employees and “economic boom” in the next decade.
That sounds a lot like what people were predicting decades ago with the space shuttle.
Good point. Money towards space endeavors might dry up if we have to defend ourselves against dictators and homegrown extremists soon.
That is because they changed the location of the space shuttle to the Kennedy Space Center in FL.
