t’s always a triumph when we can convince someone in the community to adopt a bonded pair of kittens. Not only does that mean we’ll have more space to save the cats we haven’t met yet, but it means our bonded kitties get to find their forever families while sticking together. Allow us t to introduce you to a couple of truly adorable cats ready to find their forever home: Lincoln & Cadillac.

.

Everyone’s favorite 5-month old kittens, brothers Lincoln (full black) and Cadillac (white tufts) were first brought into the shelter as Tiny Lions. Unsocialized babies born outside, they entered our Tiny Lion program at the shelter to help socialize them and teach them to trust humans. After a few months in the program, they were brought to their current foster home where their personalities get to really shine!

Lincoln is the extremely affectionate one of the duo. Very much a lap cat, he will politely request pets by barging his way beneath your hand if anyone else is getting some attention. He loves to cuddle, especially if he gets a fuzzy blanket to make his biscuits on!

While Cadillac might not be a lap cat like his brother, he certainly does love his share of pets, too. The fact he can be a little bit ‘hard to get’ for affection makes it all the sweeter when he comes up squeaking for attention. Take your time with him and he’ll be sure to give you some love.

The two brothers initially needed time to settle into their foster home (as most cats do), but they both were quite keen to get out and start exploring soon enough. Despite being quite the attention hog, Lincoln can be a little shy when meeting new folks, though he quickly warms up to his affectionate self in no time. On the other side, Cadillac is more the one to walk right up to meet new people! They also got along swimmingly with their foster’s resident cat.

A note from the foster parents

Lincoln and Cadillac are amazing kittens and we absolutely adore having them around. They are two of the funniest kittens we have fostered, and we are constantly laughing at their antics!

They are adorably clumsy for kittens, due at least in part to their very fluffy paws that prevent them from getting good traction on hard surfaces. They have kept us thoroughly entertained skidding around on the hardwood floors, often reenacting the Mufasa scene from the Lion King off their cat trees.

While neither of them are particularly graceful, Cadillac is especially goofy and often tries jumping to places he can’t quite reach. We have enjoyed fostering these two immensely and whoever adopts them will be a very lucky owner to have two great kittens!
