Paseo Nuevo is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated second Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 24th. To commence the holiday season, Paseo Nuevo warmly invites locals and visitors of all ages to enjoy an enchanting evening under the stars (and snow!) from 5pm to 8pm. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
The festivities begin at 5:30pm in Center Court, where Santa Barbara Mayor Randy Rowse will lead the tree lighting, symbolizing the start of the holidays. Attendees can gather around the illuminated tree as a light snowfall dusts Paseo Nuevo, as it will throughout the rest of the holiday season. Following the tree lighting, attendees will have the special opportunity to share their holiday wishes with Santa Claus and capture the cherished moment with photos. Adding a touch of whimsy to the celebration, the Grinch will also make an appearance.
As part of Paseo Nuevo’s commitment to inclusivity, they will be hosting Special Santa Photos in the Peppermint Parlor from 4pm to 5pm. This designated space provides a quiet and secluded environment for children who may require additional support.
The celebration will continue in the Peppermint Parlor, located across from Sephora, as it transforms into a spectacular after-party venue from 6pm to 8pm. The Peppermint Parlor will be adorned with delightful holiday decorations, creating a magical and cheerful atmosphere for all to enjoy.
Keep the festivities going and enjoy a beer at Captain Fatty’s Beer Garden during and after the ceremony where DJ Darla Bea will fill Center Court with the spirit of the season, playing lively holiday tunes all evening!
