Four people were injured in a vehicle crash on SR-246 in Santa Ynez late Monday afternoon.
At 4:47 p.m. Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to the area near the intersection of Cuesta Street, across from the Chumash Casino.
Two vehicles, a white Lexus and a black Lexus, collided causing occupants in both vehicles, all female, to sustain injuries.
In the first vehicle, one patient sustained minor injuries and two patients sustained moderate injuries. The latter were transported to Santa Ynez Valley Hospital by two ground ambulances.
The second vehicle had one patient with major injuries. County firefighters extricated the patient and called for air support. A Calstar helicopter arrived and transported the patient to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
No further information was available. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
