Join Scot Pipkin, Director of Education & Engagement at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, and Museum Teaching Artists for this family-friendly adventure in birdwatching and sketching in Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden. Afterwards, walk to the Museum’s neighboring Ridley-Tree Education Center at McCormick House and create more art inspired by the exhibition Flowers on A River: The Art of Chinese Flower-and-Bird Painting, 1368–1911, Masterworks from Tianjin Museum and Changzhou Museum.
All materials and sketchbooks included. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

10 – 10:25 am: Bird walk with Scot Pipkin & Sketching, Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden
10:30 – 11:30 am: Art making in the studios, Ridley-Tree Education Center
