Two people were injured in an early morning vehicle rollover in Santa Maria on Tuesday.
At 3:44 a.m., Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to Highway 101 northbound near Santa Maria Way.
Crews discovered a single vehicle collision where the car rolled and landed on its roof. Two adult patients were trapped inside requiring extrication, a male driver and female passenger.
Both occupants sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center by two ground ambulances.
The roadway was temporary closed while crews removed the vehicle.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
