Santa Barbara County firefighters contained 1/4 acre brush fire in Lompoc on Tuesday.
At 2:09 p.m., crews responded to the area near the intersection of Via Orilla and Rucker Road.
Firefighters were able to halt the fire’s forward progress within ten minutes of arrival.
There were no structures threatened and no reported injuries.
The cause of this fire is under investigation.

Vegetation Fire Via Orilla and Rucker Rd in Lompoc.
Full County response at Lompoc.
Forward progress is stopped.
Need one crew and additional brush trucks, hold dozers and other engines.
Sounds like no air response needed, should be containable.
Rucker in Incident 1/4 acre at this time.
I was in Lompoc today out of control fireworks going off I don’t know if the police even care…
